Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
Take patients' medical history, blood pressure, and pulse.
Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
Provide Pre/Post OP instructions for oral care following surgery or dental treatment procedures.
Teach patients oral hygiene to maintain oral health (e.
g.
, tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling).
Take impressions of the patient's teeth for study casts (models of teeth).
Chart/enter treatment into Dentrix Ascend.
Desired Profile/Background:
MUST LOVE WORKING WITH CHILDREN.
Excellent communication and computer skills.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Clean, neat professional appearance.
Bi-Lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Must be available to work 2 Saturdays a month.
