As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in our operations.

Responsibilities:
Lead by example, demonstrating a proactive and hands-on approach to quality control.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene guidelines.
Oversee the sanitation team, managing a team of 3-6 individuals, and ensure all staff members adhere to safety and sanitation protocols.
Collaborate with other departments and provide support to the HR department when needed.
Act as an active member of the safety committee, promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in quality control.
Provide regular reports to the Senior Vice President (SVP) on incidents, product quality, and personnel issues.
Visit retail store locations and perform inspections to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations for changes when necessary.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a science-related field such as Industrial Engineering, Food and Beverage, Hospitality, Manufacturing, or Food Engineering.
Certification in HACCP and food safety.
Fluent in written and verbal Spanish; non-negotiable requirement.
Previous experience in the food industry, with a strong understanding of quality control principles and practices.
Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
Professional and responsible demeanor with excellent communication skills.
Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
Familiarity with Cal OSHA certification is a plus.
Proficient in developing SOPs, work instructions, safety procedures, and risk assessment protocols.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to changing needs.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
