Our client in San Fernando, CA is looking for Mechanical Assemblers to assemble component parts per written and verbal work instructions! Responsibilities


  • Follows production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and maintain efficiency levels.

  • Positions parts and subassemblies work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed components to ensure a quality product.

  • Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications

  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment, keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; follows manufacturer's instructions; notifies supervisor if repairs are needed.

  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; notifies supervisor of potential shortages.

  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.

  • Follows and implements 5S techniques, and safety guidelines and uses required PPE designated by specific areas.

Requirements:


  • 1-3 years' experience with Assembly experience

  • High School Diploma or GED,

  • Basic Math Skills and ability to read and interpret component maintenance manuals to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.

  • Ability to use common hand tools and precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, depth gauges, flow meters, and pressure gauges.

  • Strong communicational skills

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.


Shifts Available:
Shifts are available from Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
