Mechanical Assembler
Our client in San Fernando, CA is looking for Mechanical Assemblers to assemble component parts per written and verbal work instructions! Responsibilities
Follows production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and maintain efficiency levels.
Positions parts and subassemblies work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Verifies specifications by measuring completed components to ensure a quality product.
Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications
Maintains a safe and clean working environment, keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; follows manufacturer's instructions; notifies supervisor if repairs are needed.
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; notifies supervisor of potential shortages.
Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
Follows and implements 5S techniques, and safety guidelines and uses required PPE designated by specific areas.

Requirements:
1-3 years' experience with Assembly experience
High School Diploma or GED,
Basic Math Skills and ability to read and interpret component maintenance manuals to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
Ability to use common hand tools and precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, depth gauges, flow meters, and pressure gauges.
Strong communicational skills
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Shifts Available:
Shifts are available from Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
