Sales Development Representative

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
We are looking for energetic entry level Sales people to join a fast-paced growing business to primarily handle outbound sales activities (Sales Development).
Candidates must have strong telephone skills, be tech savvy and familiar with internet software. Software sales experience is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Identify and create new qualified sales opportunities from inbound leads or Outbound Lists
Achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities
Engage with customers via telephone and email to analyze their needs
Profile prospects and overcome objections to generate quality opportunities for the Sales team
Collaborate with marketing and sales on lead/list quality and conversion
Conduct business dealings in a professional and proactive manner
Be a trusted resource for internal and external contacts
Engage in "Multi-channel" follow-up -- help uncover new deals and nurture existing opportunities
Maintain active communication with leads by sending monthly targeted materials
Generate new business opportunities to fuel the New Business Pipeline
Meet/exceed 100 daily activity points
Conduct high level conversations with Senior Executives in targeted and prospective Accounts
Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and pipeline contribution
Contribute and be listened to by upper management
PROFILE FOR SUCCESS:
Minimum of 1-2 years of previous prospecting experience
Experience with Salesforce.com or other current CRM system
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Highly motivated, driven and personable individual
Able to understand customer needs and identify potential fits
Able to work in a fast paced, agile team environment
Clear communications skills / Excellent Phone Etiquette
Strong Interpersonal Skills (Friendly Outgoing Personality)
Excellent time management skills and strong organizational skills
Self motivated with a strong sense of urgency
Quick learner
Be adaptive to change
SaaS experience a plus
Cold-calling/prospecting experience
Experience with LinkedIn, Data.com and Salesforce.com
Passion for technology
Able to translate complex concepts into simple and intuitive communication


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
